Horses for Sale

We normally sell most of our youngsters at Yearling Sales, we have a small number of youngstock for sale and all weanlings and yearlings have basic handling and are taught to tie up and lead. We are delighted with the cool temperament of the Resistance progeny and have also received positive feedback from people who have bought these youngsters and have just started breaking them in. The majority of stock horses for sale are shown in paddock condition and presentation. A few older progeny are now broken in and a Resistance filly out of a Romeo mare was prepared for the Landmark Classic Sale at Tamworth. This young mare was prepared by our son Mark and purchased by the Comiskey Family from Queensland. We have a small number of youngstock for sale and all weanlings and yearlings have basic handling and are taught to tie up and lead. This year Tecoma Casuarina produced a top quality black colt with a white star AI to Ocean Wave and Soda Highlights (X Warrenbri Romeo) has an outstanding chestnut filly by Resistance. Our Conman colt from the highly performed Reflect gave us some anxious moments with a bout of colic but thanks to Tamworth Equine Vet Clinic he has recovered quickly.

Due to the performance record of his sire and dam and the fact that Reflect is the dam of Willdraft Reflection by Soda Justice that is the winner of the prestigious Cloncurry Challenge and in combination with his excellent temperament, we consider this fellow a valuable little colt. We are currently preparing a 2 year old filly by Resistance and a quality yearling filly from Nandeye Capri (X Soda Falcon) by the sire Bryjen Fort Talon for the Fountain of Youth sale at the National Championships in May. We have also joined a small number of mares to the young Ocean colt Willdraft Jet by Soda Justice out of that great old mare Ocean Midnight (dec.). Our Ocean Demise mare, Ocean Dawn, has produced a colt this year sired by this young colt and is being joined to Soda Justice, while Casuarina has a positive test to One Moore Playboy and Kirkby’s Stud Teal has a positive test to Hugh Miles exciting young colt Millionic Chic.

Reflect has produced a positive E.T. to that great sire Acres Destiny and we will be looking forward hopefully to the arrival of that foal. On a very sober note, on the 10th February we sadly lost our lovely Nandeye Resistance as a result of a tragic accident and we still grieve his loss. Prospective buyers and onlookers are welcome to come and browse through our Stock Horses and have the inevitable ‘cuppa’ with us and we particularly relish visitors now we have an all-weather road right to our door. Nandeye Zacman

4 yr old chestnut gelding with white markings. DOB. 27.11.05
Sire: Resistol (Seventy Seven Revenge X Robs Traminer S.O.D. Rosebrook Abou).
Dam: Nandeye Calypso (Warrenbri Romeo X. Nandeye Demalza S.O.D. Tufreys Cadman). This athletic, sensible gelding is showing great potential under saddle. Broken in, during 2009, and he is a nice moving horse. He is bred to be a campdrafter. His sire was the winner of the 2003 Nationals Stallion draft and is producing campdraft winners and his dam was a good campdrafter and polocrosse horse prior to injury. Zacman has a wire scar on the front of his hock on his nearside back leg, but is not affected in any way. Worth looking at. Soon to be started at polocrosse by Trent Mortimer.

A beautiful, quality filly bred in the purple with two crosses of Reality bloodlines through Warrenbri Romeo and Seventy Seven Revenge plus Rosebrook Abou, Yarramine Swagman and T.B. lines of Dickens in her pedigree. Her sire, Resistance is highly performed at the top level in led, working and hack at Royal State and National level, was 2nd and State winner in 2006 ASHS National Futurity. He is also a half brother to the elite performance and campdraft mare Nandeye Reflect. Nandeye Solitude

Sire: Bryjen Fort Talon Dam: Nandeye Capri (S.O.D. Soda Falcon).

An attractive filly, from a young mare that was a successful led show filly. Her granddam Regal is a half sister to top performance mare Nandeye Reflect and her Romeo bred sire Soda Falcon was Champion working 4 y.o at the 2005 ASHS National Championships at Albury. Falcon was also 2nd in the Led section and 1st in the Working and Campdraft sections of the 4 y.o. Maturity there. Solitude's sire Fort Talon carries the famous Abdul bloodlines and is a well performed stallion that is producing good performance and campdrafting stock. With Romeo and Abdul in her pedigree, this is a filly with a great future.

Nandeye Reward

Sire: Soda Justice Dam: Nandeye Replay (S.O.D. Ocean Wave AI).

A sweet, quality filly from a young mare that is a full sister to the highly performed show and campdraft mare Nandeye Reflect. Replay won the N.W.Branch Led Futurity as a youngster and she displays the same athleticism as Reflect. She has had training with Michael Wilson who states that she will make a good campdraft mare and she also has all the attributes to make a successful polocrosse mount. Reward’s sire, Soda Justice needs no introduction as he has extremely successful in working and challenge events at the highest level and is an Open Campdraft winner. Reward has a double cross of the legendary Romeo bloodlines from her grandsire Ocean Wave and sire Justice and carries the breedlines of Elliot Creek Cadet, Abbey and Yarramine Swagman in her pedigree. A half brother to her dam, Nandeye Resistance, was 2nd and State Winner at the 2006 National Futurity and is a Cloncurry Challenge finalist. She is bred almost identically to the young mare Willdraft Reflection, (being by the same sire and from a full sister to Reflection’s dam), which is showing great ability under saddle for Willdraft Partnership and has already won a draft as a 4 y.o. and was the winner of the prestigious Cloncurry Challenge for 2010.. Nandeye Cygnet Bay Weanling filly. Expected to mature 15.00hh +. D.O.B. 01.11.10

Sire: Ocean Blue (Warrenbri Romeo X Tecoma Casuarina) Dam: Nandeye Portrait (S.O.D. Ocean Wave).

This filly has classic breeding as she carries the legendary Romeo bloodlines from both her sire and her maternal grandsire and Docs Freckles Oak is her paternal grandsire. As well her pedigree contains a double cross of Elliots Creek Cadet plus Eagle bloodlines from her dam and Regal from her sire. Her granddam Tecoma Casuarina is a lovely tempered mare that has been ridden by all members of the Field family. Joanne Field won a hack at National level while Mark Field was awarded Reserve Champion Working Horse at the State Breeders Championship. Breana Field at 13 years of age won the Junior Campdraft at the 2005 National Championships and also the Junior Campdraft at the State Youth Show and as well the Highest Point Score on this mare. She has also performed well at Polocrosse for the Field girls. Cygnet’s young sire Ocean Blue is by the legendary Romeo and is producing quality progeny with the oldest being 4 y.o’s. A very attractive chestnut colt with white markings carrying Warrenbri Romeo bloodlines from his sire and a double cross of Docs Freckles Oak bloodlines from his paternal granddam and maternal great grandsire. His other grandsire Admiral Oak was very athletic and brilliant cutting horse. His maternal granddam Polo Lass (X Abdul) is the dam of Kirkbys Stud Theo, winner of both National Futurity in 2004 and National Maturity in 2005. Sire: Willdraft Jet (Soda Justice X Ocean Midnight). D.O.B. 28.10.10 Dam: Ocean Dawn (S.O.D. Ocean Demise). This colt is the first foal to have been sired by the young 3 y.o. sire Jet, and has a double cross of Warrenbri Romeo and Elliot Creek Cadet bloodlines plus Chan and Real Bobby. He has top performance mares and sires in his pedigree with both grandsires Ocean Demise and Soda Justice being Open campdrafters and challenge winners. His granddam Ocean Midnight was a performed campdrafter and winner of Champion Working classes at elite level and was also the dam of Willdraft Ignite, a National Maturity and Cloncurry Challenge winner. His maternal great granddam, Strathmua Saphire, ridden by Mark Field was a state polox representative that was awarded Best No 2 and Best ASH in the Colts Series against New Zealand in 1988 and was the dam of the well performed Ocean Wave and Ocean Demise. A striking colt with great presence and excellent conformation, bred AI by the great Ocean Wave (dec) and carrying top performance bloodlines. Ocean Wave is the sire of Nandeye Reflect, a winner of Supreme Workings, Led classes, Champion Hack, ASHLA, and Open Challenges at National Championships. She won campdrafts and was awarded the National Maturity and Prince of Wales Trophy in 2003 for outstanding performance. He is also the grandsire of Willdraft Reflection, winner of the Cloncurry Challenge in 2011. Tides’s dam Casuarina has won Hacks and Working classes at National and State shows. Sire: Ocean River Oak (Docs Freckles Oak X Strathmua Saphire) Dam: Nandeye Regal Beauty (Nandeye Reebok X Yarramine Robyn)

This colt, has attractive white markings and should make a versatile show gelding. His dam was not shown due to injury but is a half sister to the highly performed Nandeye Reflect and is also the dam of Nandeye Rhythm and Nandeye Ambition which are performing very well for the Frazer family. His sire River Oak won Champion Working at the 2000 National Championships and won a cut-out at the National Campdrafting Championships. His granddams were both highly performed with Nandeye Robyn being a winning ASH showmare at elite level and Strathmua Saphire highly performed at State level in polocrose. His full brother sold for $4,400 as a yearling gelding at the last Fountain of Youth sale in 2010. Noble has been handled by teenage girls, and has been gelded and has great performance potential.

Romeo needs no introduction and his paternal granddam Casuarina has won Hacks and Working classes at National and State shows.
